Each group begins with meeting time, which may include greetings, calendar, weather, experiences, stories and a discussion of the day's activities.
Classroom Time
Imaginative play, arts and crafts, painting, water or sand play, cooking, science exploration, manipulative materials, constructions, puzzles and games are offered in each classroom. Children are encouraged to move freely around the room, choosing their favorite areas in which to play. Everyone is encouraged to participate in the activity of the day.
Cleanup & Snack Time
Stories & Music
Outdoor Play
The length of time outside varies with the seasons and the weather but children should be prepared to go outside every day. This includes, hats, gloves and boots when necessary.
Miscellaneous
The children are visited by Fire Fighters, Police Officers, Dentists and other community figures. The Fours will go on some walking trips to visit other areas of the community. A puppet show is held yearly. A music specialist comes in weekly to share her talents with the children. If you have any talents, we encourage you to volunteer to come to the school to share with the children.

A child's introduction to school is a milestone and a very important step. Our Two's program is designed to insure success through a nurturing staff, small groups, and a happy, safe, age appropriate environment. Stories, music and finger plays are abundant along with lots of time to explore and enjoy toys, art materials and sand and water play. Since the Two's cannot be expected to share, our rooms are equipped with toys in duplicate and triplicate. Socialization and Language development are encouraged by our experienced teachers who are chosen because of their love and patience with the Two's.
